    Daddy's Little Fish

Since Caleb was little, David has been the main parent to bathe him.  They have heaps of fun in the bath, much more fun than he would have had with just me.  You see, David lets him stand in the bath, splash to his heart's content... all things I probably would have said "no" to.  I'd say David even encourages the splashing since before Caleb's bath David changes into his own board shorts and take his socks off!!  :)

As you'll see on this short video, we have a huge bathtub. It's actually a little large for our bathroom, but it is super fun for a toddler.  It's almost like his own little swimming pool.  And it's deep (which helps with the wild splashing!).

A couple nights ago, when I was bathing him, Caleb started putting half of his head (mainly one of his ears) under water.  The next bath, he got more adventurous with his daddy and leaned his head back to completely submerge his two ears.  We think he liked the sound, because he kept doing it over and over again!

So, here's a short clip of our little fish in the bathtub:

He is just adorable, loves his baths. Maybe he'll grow up to be a Mark Spitz.

What a great tub for fun!! I think he's going to take after his daddy's adventurous nature!

    Love to all!!

He's going to be swimming in there, with just a little bit more water, in no time at all!
  • Caleb James Nelson's Space

I was born on September 8th 2010, in Kharkov, Ukraine. I live with my parents David and Olivia Nelson. They are missionaries in Kharkov, and are trying really hard to be great parents to me. Of course they are new and make a lot of mistakes, but I love them anyways.
Right now I am doing my best to educate them to my needs and desires. Lucky for them I only have a couple at the moment. But as I grow up I will surprise them with more and more.
Please feel free to read some of what has been happening in my life in this blog, or check out some other interesting things in my parent's blog.
